Meet Your CFO
Seth Girsky
I help companies navigate their next inflection point by bringing together Wall Street rigor and founder empathy. After years on both sides of the table, I understand what growing companies actually need from a CFO.
The Journey
My career started on Wall Street, where I learned the fundamentals of financial analysis at Deutsche Bank's Equity Capital Markets team, helping startups prepare for IPO. At Citigroup, I analyzed public companies for institutional investors, developing the rigorous analytical framework that I bring to every client engagement.
But I knew that advising from the outside wasn't enough. I wanted to understand what it really feels like to build a company. So I became a founder.
I founded and scaled Word on the Block to over $5MM in revenue and $1MM ARR. Through that journey, I experienced firsthand the challenges of cash flow management, capital raising, and making strategic decisions with imperfect information.
Before that, I served as Director of Finance & Strategy at Estrella Media, leading FP&A and M&A for a $100MM revenue PE-backed media company. This gave me experience with the complexity of larger organizations and private equity dynamics.
Today, I combine all of these experiences to help growing companies navigate their most critical financial decisions. I understand both the spreadsheet and the sleepless nights.
